Upcoming CRIC Seminar on Mapping and Big Data Analysis in Conflict Areas

Thursday 17th of September 2015 2 - 5 pm at the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen

This seminar focuses on how to study crises and conflicts by using the massive amount of user-generated content available online through services such as Twitter, Youtube and Facebook.

Speakers at the seminar will be Luigi Curini, Associate Professor of Political Science (University of Milan and VOICES from the Blogs), and Christopher McNaboe, Manager of the ‘Syria Mapping Project’ at the Carter Center.
